Controls and shortcuts#
This is a control reference. For the usual end-to-end process, use Basic workflow and Adding and editing points.

Pan and zoom never change stored point positions. See Data and coordinate model.
Points and selection#
In Add/edit points, click empty graph space to add a point. Clicking an existing point begins point correction; drag or click the corrected position as prompted. The Data points table also supports direct X/Y coordinate entry.
Hold Shift and click a point to toggle it in the selection. Shift-click empty graph space clears the selection. Shift-drag empty graph space draws an additive marquee; a marquee with no points does not clear an existing selection. Use Delete selected, or press Delete/Backspace when points are selected, to remove the selection.
While correcting one point, Delete or Backspace deletes that point and Escape cancels the correction. Escape is contextual: it also closes native dialogs and open menus where GraphX provides that dismissal behaviour; it is not a universal command to discard all work.
Use Command-Z on macOS or Ctrl-Z elsewhere for Undo. Redo is Command-Shift-Z, Ctrl-Shift-Z, or Ctrl-Y. These workspace shortcuts intentionally do not take over while focus is in a text or numeric input.
Calibration and tracing#
Use the Calibration panel to choose Fast or Perspective, select a reference/corner, and place or edit it in the graph workspace. Trace curve asks for a seed point on a curve; the green preview is temporary until Add N points accepts it. Cancel discards that preview. See Curve tracing and Curve-tracing method.
Display controls#
The Display menu controls presentation aids independently of digitising mode. Crosshair shows calibrated horizontal and vertical guides after calibration. Invert image changes the source-image presentation. Precision magnifier shows intrinsic pixels near the cursor; its discrete zoom choices change loupe detail, not graph viewport zoom or selected coordinates.
