Third-party licences#

GraphX uses KaTeX to display mathematical equations in the trendline inspector and documentation. PDF reports embed the KaTeX Main Regular and KaTeX Math Italic fonts for legible equation typography.

The KaTeX font files distributed with GraphX, including both fonts embedded in PDF reports, identify the SIL Open Font License 1.1 in their metadata. Their copyright notices name Design Science, Inc. (2009–2010) and Khan Academy (2014–2018). The full font licence, copyright notices, and reserved font names are distributed with the GraphX font assets. The licence allows embedding in documents without adding a licence page to each report; see the OFL embedding FAQ.

The KaTeX renderer is also distributed under the MIT licence. Its copyright and licence text are included in the KaTeX package licence.

Clean-plot fonts and rendering#

Clean plots use locally bundled Latin Modern fonts for scientific lettering and MathJax New Computer Modern glyphs for equations. Their distribution details are in the plot font notice, Latin Modern licence and MathJax licence.

Plot rendering and font processing also distribute Plotly, opentype.js, tiny-inflate and string.prototype.codepointat notices. These local links provide the licence text distributed with this build.
